On 23 October 2023, the High-end Symposium on Deep Space Exploration was successfully held in Hefei, Anhui Province during the 25th Annual Meeting of China Association for Science and Technology. The symposium was organized by CSA and Deep Space Exploration Lab (DSEL), and jointly supported by the Chinese Society of Biotechnology, Committee of Deep Space Exploration Technology and Committee of Space Medical Engineering and Space Biology of CSA.

Focusing on the theme of "International Deep Space Exploration and Human Practice", the symposium brought together about 200 well-known experts and scholars from home and abroad, discussed the latest scientific and technological progresses and breakthroughs in the field of deep space exploration.

Mr. Zheng Yongfei from Anhui Provincial Political Consultative Conference delivered opening remarks. Mr. Wang Yiran, Vice President and Secretary General of CSA, moderated the symposium.

In the keynote session, Mr.Yu Dengyun from CASC comprehensively introduced the thoughts on the development of Lunar Bridge Constellation System with Communication, Navigation, Remote Sensing Function. Mr. Pei Zhaoyu form CNSA made a report giving a detailed explanation on why and how China is going to build an international lunar research station, as well as its overall layout and mission planning in the future.

Mr. Ahmed Hamdi Takan from Turkish Space Agency introduced the application and broad prospects of artificial intelligence in lunar exploration and deep space exploration. Mr. Zhang Chongfeng from CASC made a report titled "The Application of Aerospace Structures in China Space Stations. Mr. Bernard Foing put forward  views on the space science research on Earth, Moon and Mars.

The symposium also set up two special sessions on scientific issues and technical issues concerning deep space exploration.

Dozens of papers were collected in this symposium, and five high-level paper authors were invited to give oral presentation.
